East Hill contains a very closely knit housing subdivision. Houses are often crammed very closely to one another, with rather small yards. The community dotted with its own parks and ball courts, offering a place for youth to exercise and socialize outside of home.

Despite their being multiple elementary schools, Mapleridge Secondary school is currently the only high school still in session. This massive building is currently undergoing renovations to accommodate for it's larger student body, but it still operates from 8:30 to 3:05 every week day.

The Little Bass is a small family owned outdoor store. They sell everything from camping gear to hunting gear, mountain climbing gear, to first aid medical assets. With the unusual events surrounding the city, this store has found itself with a surprisingly large amount of customers.

The Hospital of Mapleridge has also had to expand due to recent events. The staff here are constantly hard at work, and the hospital is always willing to accept volunteers. Gifted who have healing abilities are protected here by law so long as they aren't a danger to those around them, and do exactly as they're told. It's a risky job. But for many, it is their only chance for safety. The Hospital has no law against treating Gifted, but they are very wary to do so and will turn down any Reaper unless given a good reason.
